NY Fashion Week Fix: Risto Bimbiloski Fall 2010
vintage valentine circa 1860's
What's not to love about the texture and flow of Risto Bimbiloski Fall 2010. I adore that he still returns to his native roots in Macedonia for knitwear and handcrafted inspiration. It seems like eons since I reviewed his Spring/Summer 2008 collection for Inhabitat's sustainable style column.

That said, I disagree with your belief that fashion cannot be 'green' or 'sustainable'. I think that it is vital that we look for new new ways to approach fashion, the materials, the production cycles, and even the education of young designers coming along in the pipeline.
Clothing is shelter and beauty is vital to life - I really believe that fashion, and art for that matter, can make a difference and send the right message.
The industry will never change if we do not try to do things better and more responsibly.
